SouvenarteBooks Giveaway: Win a Book of Your Child’s Art

SouvenarteBooks Child's Art BookDo you wonder what to do with all the art your child creates? You can store it, yes, but have you thought of preserving some in book format?

SouvenarteBooks, a design studio in New York City, will work with you to create a one-of-a-kind book of your child's artwork that you and your family will surely treasure for years to come. What a lovely way to save and honor children's creative work! And the artist in question will no doubt be proud to flip through the pages of his or her very own art book.

How SouvenarteBooks works:

Mail your children's works of art to them and they will digitize, enhance, and use them to design a keepsake book. You are not limited to flat pieces of art, but can also include 3-dimensional pieces such as sculptures as well as written works such as poetry. Once the book is designed, you'll receive a digital proof of the layout for approval before it is printed. If you are interested, here is a bit more about the process.

Oh, I love this idea! My 5 year old has so much beautiful artwork…I’ve been trying to figure out how to save all of it!

This would be so great. We have BOXES of artwork already and my child is only 5; this is even after purging. She does art every day. She is at the age that she takes her mini photo album with her everywhere…she would just LOVE to take an art book with her to show everyone her creations. Thanks for the great giveaway.

What a great idea! My 4-year-old daughter has created some true masterpieces, and we don’t have room to frame all of them on the walls but this would be equally special and take up less space. Love it!

  16. Susan says

What a great idea! I finally have something to do with the box of my son’s drawings that I have been saving. Thanks for all the goodies you have been giving away this week.

  21. katie says

i grew up with Make-A-Plate (im 30 now and still have the plates i made from when i was 2)… this is another cool idea to preserve kids’ art… i have two budding artists… love this!!!

  22. says

I love this idea :) A la Susan Striker, I already have a couple portfolios stuffed with the boys’ artwork stashed in a closet. I know someday they will want to narrow that down, and those books are such a space saver!

  23. Sharon says

I would love to win this! My daughter would love to have a collection of her artwork to admire.

  24. [email protected] says

It’s so hard to know what to do with all those great art projects. I keep several each year for the child’s scrapbook, and choose one per child each school year to hang on the walls of our family room. I love this book idea as well! Thanks!

  25. Amanda says

My daughter is so productive in the art area that the hard part would be deciding which 20 to use for the book. What a great gift idea for grandparents or godparents. (Or moms and dads!) Here’s hoping I’m the lucky one!

  26. Eliza says

LOVE this idea! I always struggle with what to do with all the art my boys make at home and/or bring home from school as I do not want to throw things away. This is perfect! I just had my blog bound into a book and it is such a wonderful memento!

  27. Jenny says

It would be interesting to see how the book turns out. I don’t know if it would allow me to part with the originals though! It could make a great gift.

  28. andrea says

wow, wow, WOW!!!! i’ve been wanting to do something like this myself using shutterfly or snapfish or the like. but let’s face it, most kid art doesn’t fit on my home scanner! and taking photos of it doesn’t seem to render the best results either!!!! this would be so awesome to win. just awesome.

  29. [email protected] says

enter me in this one please- this is a fantastic idea!

  30. suzette says

this is an amazing giveaway! this is a great gift for both parent and child. this would be great!! thanks for your inspiration.

  31. Jane says

What a great idea! I have piles of artwork in the basement…if everything was organized in a book the kids could easily look through their creations!

  32. Leah Seneng says

This is a great idea! I thought about taking photos and putting them in a photo album but this is even better. How nice for the child to see their work in a book and also a really great way to see their development!
