T-Shirts -- 21 Fun, DIY Ways to Alter a Shirt

I just realized that we've done an awful lot of T-shirt embellishment and alteration over the past few years. I started going through some of the posts and decided to pull them together into a big T-shirt roundup post. Maybe you'll find a few here to try this summer… And feel free to add your own ideas or links in the comments!

    Cute ideas!
Just wanted to let you know that the links under the Birthday t-shirts are not correct and I couldn’t find the birthday t-shirts on your site. I would love to see how to make those.

I checked out your book from the library today and all I can say is Wow! When I picked it up from the reserve section I thought, “Wow this book is thicker than I thought.” I thought it was just going to be mainly pictures with some text, but there is A LOT of content and I look forward to diving in to it. My girls loved the pictures of your daughters and their friends. That book must have been a TON of work.

I’m very excited to try some of these with my daughter! She has been into sewing and making clothes (somewhat haphazardly) for her dolls, but she doesn’t always have enough patience to finish a project since sewing is a new skill. I know she will love these creations for herself and her dolls. I think the fabric painting projects will be a hit with my 3 year old son as well.
Thanks for the inspiration and instructions!
