The picture of the girls together made me cry. They are so beautiful…their spirits shine from them like warm sunshine. The interviews are precious. I wish I had done that with my daughters. What a loving and lovely thing you have done. Of course you will save the interviews printed out for them!!

I love this! My son is currently reading the fifth Harry Potter too!! He’s inhaling that series!! I gotta admit I’m enjoying it too. Such a simple but great activity to do with kids. Thanks for sharing! :-)

Great interview! I have an 8.5 y.o. son. He also loves the Humphrey books- wanted to tell you, in case Maia might be interested in doing the same, that he wrote the author, Betty G. Birney, a “fan” email a year or so ago, and she wrote him a lovely message in return. He found it so exciting that an author would write to him!

Thank you for your wonderful site and thoughtful projects- we have enjoyed so many of them over the past few years and are looking forward to an art-filled summer.

That was adorable! I do not often get to stop and smell the roses these day (and by stopping and smelling the roses I mean taking time to read for pleasure) That put a big smile on my face. Makes me want to interview my own kids and write it down too so I can look back on it someday. love the painted rocks too:)
