We did the fabric transfers with the Toddler Art Group today. Fortunately, I had learned a lot from our test run and knew what to avoid. Here's Stella, above, modeling her new t-shirt.
The kids drew on regular white paper with the special fabric crayons.
Then we transfered the drawings to fabric with an iron. None of us found synthetic t-shirts, so we all ended up transfering the designs to the white synthetic blend fabric (60% synthetic, 40% cotton) instead.
Here I pinned Stella's drawing onto the t-shirt her mom brought, in preparation for sewing on the fabric.
Most of these photos were taken by Bobbi, who still takes more and better photos than me, even with a new baby in a sling. Thanks Bobbi!
