More than any other art activity, my son loves to draw. He does drawings for all his school work samples (e.g. he’ll draw a clock rather than right out the time on a worksheet, or he’ll draw the life cycle of a frog rather than write a paragraph about it). I’m happy to see so many beautiful drawing supplies suggested in this post.

I think I might be just as addicted to these cool art supplies as my 8 year old daughter. My office desk is full of unique art supplies, crayons, colored pencils, post it notes and more that my daughter always tries to sneak away when she stops by. There are never too many art supplies!

Love the push-up crayons. My son always peels and breaks his crayons…and I don’t like him touching the pigments much, no matter how natural or organic the crayons are, since from what I understand, the pigments are all somewhat toxic.
