A Favor to Ask…

The Artful Year Book Review Request with Cherries on Top

Hello my friends,

This post contains affiliate links.I have some exciting news to share with you today. My new book, The Artful Year, was chosen by Amazon as one of the best books of the year so far! (In the category of Crafts, Hobbies, and Home…) You may have seen my announcement on Facebook a while back, but I’ve been meaning to share the news here, too. I feel like a proud mama!

Like any good mama, I sometimes feel the need to ask for help on behalf of my babies, and today I have a special request.

I would would very much appreciate your support in getting more Amazon reviews for The Artful Year :: Celebrating the Seasons and Holidays with Crafts and Recipes.

The Artful Year - Celebrating the Seasons and Holidays with Crafts and RecipesSo if you have used the book at all—whether you borrowed a copy from the library, read it at a friend’s house, or bought one for your family—I would LOVE it if you would leave a review for the book here

(Either scroll to the bottom of the reviews and click the button that says “Write a customer review” or go to your orders screen, find The Artful Year book, and click the button that says “Leave a product review.”)

Brief is fine!

Just be honest and share what you thought about the book or how it has affected you and your family.

Why? I love to read the reviews for one thing. But also, the more reviews a book has, the better its rankings on Amazon and also the more likely other people will be to buy the book or seek it out through their library.

Again, all you need to do is head over to Amazon to write a sentence or two about the book.

If you’ve already left a review for The Artful Year, then thank you, thank you, thank you!

You’re the best!

P.S. When I get to 100 reviews on Amazon, I think I’ll have to throw a big party here on the blog with giveaways (both of my books, plus art supplies and other fun stuff). I’ll have to bake a cake, too, but you and I know both know who will get to eat it. :)
