We’ve been doing lots of Easter activities these past couple of weeks!

If you are looking for some easy Easter art activities to try with your family, here’s a few of our favorites here at the Artful Parent.

These activities are simple and fun, perfect for doing with kids of all ages. They’re also great to pull out if you have family over for Easter. And they all make lovely Easter decorations when finished!

1. Easter Egg Printmaking

Make a foam printed Easter card with this simple printmaking technique. The prints look especially striking when you cut the foam into shapes first, such as these Easter eggs.

2. Mini Easter Baskets

These mini Easter baskets are easy to make and so pretty. First you decorate paper plates using the wax-resist watercolor technique. Then you use scissors and a stapler to turn the paper plate into an adorable mini basket! They are perfect for Easter egg hunts, giving as gifts, or using for some Easter decor.

3. Painting with Peeps

Create fun Easter art with Peep painting! This simple yet engaging process art activity allows kids to use marshmallow bunnies as stamps, creating vibrant and colorful prints.

4. Stained Glass Easter Eggs

Stained glass Easter eggs are easily made by cutting out a paper egg, snowflake-style, and adding tissue paper. They are striking when hung in a sunny window!

5. Painted Wooden Easter Eggs

These painted wooden eggs will long outlast the hard-boiled kind and are so lovely. They can be brought out Easter after Easter, given as gifts, and join the play kitchen for some pretend play.
