Use black and white paper, stickers, tape, and drawing tools to explore black and white collage art for kids.
Collage is a fun, open-ended way for kids to create art. And using only black and white materials makes it even more striking! Limiting the colors encourages kids to explore shape, line, and texture in new ways. This project is simple to set up, encourages creativity, and works for a wide range of ages.
Whether youโre looking for a quick afternoon art activity, something for the classroom, or a project to display at home, black and white collages are bold, graphic, and always unique.
And you could try this with another color combination, like red, white, and blue for a patriotic project, pastel colors in the spring, or using just your child’s favorite color!
