If you are looking for some Easter activities for kids, here are some fun ideas that we’ve done over the years, including Easter eggs of all kinds, birds’ nests, suncatchers, and more.
You might have noticed that here at the Artful Parent, we really enjoy our holiday crafts. And that doesn’t change at Easter! As it approaches, we decorate dozens of Easter eggs, make bunny ears, and create birds’ nests all different ways. So, today, with Easter approaching, we thought we’d share some of our favorite easy Easter crafts for kids.
Easter Craft Ideas
1. How to Make Paper Mache Eggs
How fun is it to make huge Easter eggs?! Learn how to make large paper mache Easter Eggs using balloons and newspaper strips.
2. Stained glass Easter eggs
Here’s a pretty Easter craft to try – stained glass Easter eggs, made by cutting into a paper egg, snowflake style, and adding tissue paper.
3. Make Easter egg suncatchers with flower petals or with colored tissue paper
Or try one of these lovely suncatchers, using Spring flower petals or tissue paper.
4. How to Paint Wooden Easter Eggs
These painted wooden eggs can be brought out Easter after Easter, given as gifts, and be added to the play kitchen for some extra fun pretend play.
