Turn Paintings into Thank You Cards

I cut down a few of Maia’s paintings the other day to make her b-day thank you cards.

I pasted them to colored construction paper, pressed them under some heavy books, then we sat down together to write the messages.

She dictated them with plenty of leading on my part. “So, what do you want to say to Grandma? Do you want to say ‘thank you for the book’?” Etc.

What a cute idea for thank you cards! I have tons of Evie’s art around that I could use for this!

I love this idea! I’ve had Esme “decorate” blank notecards, but these look very impressive.
