How to Make Super Bubbles

MATERIALS

  • 6 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of blue Dawn dish soap
  • 1/2 cup of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of glycerin (optional, but it helps make the bubbles stronger and last longer)
  • Large bowl
  • Bubble wands and small jars for solution

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix water and soap

In a large bowl, mix together the distilled water and dish soap gently to avoid creating foam.

  3. Let sit

Let the bubble solution sit for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight, to allow the ingredients to mix and the bubbles to strengthen.

That’s all there is to it! Once your bubble solution has had time to sit, you’re ready to blow some bubbles! We like to pour the solution into a bowl and use giant bubble wands to make the biggest bubbles possible! You can also use homemade bubble wands!

And if you’d prefer not to use glycerin in your bubble mixture, or don’t have any on hand, check out How to Make Homemade Bubbles.
